Hello, Gem Lovers.
My name is Ioana and i live in Romania, Bucharest.
Why gemstones? Well, it’s an answer i don’t know very well either. It all began in November 2020, when someone asked me: “Don’t you want to be a gem cutter? From that point my life changed. In March 2021 i was flying to Bangkok to start the course of Gem Cutting at the Institute of Gem Trading with Justin K. Prim, an amazing gem cutter and teacher.
It was such a great period of my life. I was staying in a beautiful city thay i love, meeting great people and learning a new job. During the course i felt more present as ever.
Personaly i am not a very patient persone, and gem cutting is all about patience, ironically. :)) How life gives you the opportunity to improve yourself, all you need is to wait the right moment.
One year passed and a loth of things i have learned and i am still learning. I love gems, i love jewelry and i love being a gemcutter.
